Veggie Happy*advocates for vegetarian/vegan options on mainstream concession menus and is known for opening the door to vegetarian hot dogs and frankfurters at MLB stadiums.
What we do:
- We educate consumers on the foodservice business and empower them to provide feedback at the venues they frequent. We provide an online Venue Vegetarian Guide with many concession menu listings for easy reference.
- We consult with foodservice professionals and encourage menu options that are popular with flexitarians and vegans alike (translation: more sales!) We also liaison between manufacturers and venues to set up sample tastings.
- We celebrate whenever new vegan options are added to a menu by outreaching to our growing network of supporters as well as members of the media.
Our approach is always positive and our mission is to make it fun.
