Soy Happy Day is a day that celebrates you, the consumer, and your ability to make a difference at the food establishments you patronize. You hold great power, you know. Every email, every call, every personal thank you, and every happy and appreciative face behind them all helped to make veggie dogs possible in the baseball stadiums that carry them. It only took five or ten minutes of each person's time, but collectively, it created a force for change. That force continues!

How do you celebrate Soy Happy Day? Simple! Take a few minutes to share your appreciation and/or your suggestions with the food establishments that matter to you. Are you really happy with a new menu item? Tell them! Reinforce the new menu by expressing your appreciation. Would you like them to add something to the menu or to offer other options? Tell them what you'd like for them to offer. Whether it's the concessions menu at a ballpark or another large venue, or the menu at a local restaurant, cafeteria, coffeehouse or pizzeria, customer feedback is taken seriously. Empower yourself and let your voice be heard.

Baseball fans: this is an optimal time to contact your ballparks. Concessionaires review fan comments and suggestions while they create new menus for the upcoming season. Most decisions are finalized by March, so chime in! Go to our MLB Venue Vegetarian Guide to find your team/stadium's vegetarian menu. Pick up the phone or send an email. (Contact information is included in the listing.) Share what you like about the existing menu and/or suggest what you'd like for them to add this year. If you are suggesting veggie dogs, let them know that over 20 ballparks already offer them (check the list at the top of the MLB Guide). Let them know that Soy Happy is also available to help with sample tastings and to promote their vegetarian menus. Finally, express your appreciation for their time and consideration. That's it!
